Highbury Fields Tennis League

The Park Tennis League Project

Play tennis in your local park!

Highbury Fields, in North London was the first, but now we have ten local park leagues up and running around the country.

The plan is to bring affordable, friendly competitive tennis to a public park near you. Our leagues are based on the often excellent existing facilitiies in public parks which may lack a way to play matches or meet other players.

We put people into groups of about six players of a similar standard, circulate details and everyone plays everyone else in their group over an eight week period. So for the cost of £10 per round, each player gets five or six competitive matches.

In every round, winners of each group receive a certificate and a cash prize (champagne in Highbury) and everyone who plays three matches by the half way point receives a free tube of tennis balls.

Click on the list below of leagues already running for more details (or see their locations on the map).

We would love to help you play more tennis and warmly invite you to get in touch!
